Töhötöm Magyar
Töhötöm Magyar was led a smaller Hungarian army and defeated the Bulgarian forces near Kolozsvar.1 He also secured the vital salt mines of Torda.1 He was the father of Horta.2 Also called Tuhutum Magyar. He was leader of one of the seven Magyar tribes, as was Almos, founder of the Hungarian nation. Not the father of Gyula and grandfather of Sarlot, but their ancestor. He was led his Hungarian hordes into the Ardeal (Transylvania) by the defile of Ciucea, and there fought against the Rumanian Voivode Gelu, and after the death of Gelu, the Rumanians "voluntarily made peace and chose as their lord Tuhutum" in 895.2
