Ása Haraldsdóttir married Gudrødr Veidikonung Hálfdanarson, King of Vestfold, son of King of Vestfold Hálfdan Mildi Eysteinsson and Hlíf Dagsdóttir; His 2nd (widower).1 Ása Haraldsdóttir set herself there in, Agder, the kingdom which her father Harald had possessed, and there raised her son Halfdan. She was the daughter of Haraldr Granraudi, King of Agdir. Ása Haraldsdóttir was born. She witnessed the death of Gudrødr Veidikonung Hálfdanarson, King of Vestfold circa 821; They had a son by their marriage called Halfdan; and the autumn that Halfdan was a year old Gudrod went upon a round of feasts. He lay with his ship in Stiflesund, where they had been drinking hard, so that the king was very tipsy. In the evening, about dark, the king left the ship; and when he had got to the end of the gangway from the ship to the shore, a man ran against him, thrust a spear through him, and killed him. The man was instantly put to death, and in the morning when it was light the man was discovered to be Åsa's page-boy: nor did she conceal that it was done by her orders.

Thus tells Thjodolf of it: --

"Gudrod is gone to his long rest,
Despite of all his haughty pride --
A traitor's spear has pierced his side:
For Aasa cherished in her breast
Revenge; and as, by wine opprest,
The hero staggered from his ship,
The cruel queen her thrall let slip
To do the deed of which I sing:
And now the far-descended king,
At Stiflesund, in the old bed
Of the old Gudrod race, lies dead."2
. Asa is believed to be buried in the Oseberg ship, the richest Scandanavian archeology find.

""When Thutmose II died in 1479 B.C. his son, Thutmose III, was appointed heir. However, Hatshepsut was appointed regent due to the boy's young age. They ruled jointly until 1473 when she declared herself pharaoh. Dressed in men’s attire, Hatshepsut administered affairs of the nation, with the full support of the high priest of Amon, Hapuseneb and other officials. When she built her magnificent temple at Deir el Bahari in Thebes she made reliefs of her divine birth as the daughter of Amon. Hatshepsut disappeared in 1458 B.C. when Thutmose III, wishing to reclaim the throne, led a revolt. Thutmose had her shrines, statues and reliefs mutilated."7"

Queen Tetisheri of Egypt was the daughter of Cenna of Egypt and Neferu of Egypt.1 Queen Tetisheri of Egypt married Sekhenre-wahkhau Rahotep of Egypt, son of King Nubkheperre Inyotef VII of Egypt and Queen Sebekemsaf of Egypt.2,3 Tetisheri was the founding matriarch of the dynasty. Greatly honored by her descendants, she was provided not only with a lavish tomb but also with a pyramid and chapel at the sacred site of Abydos, complete with a full staff of mortuary priests. Tetisheri gave birth to Ahmose's father, Seqenenre II, and his mother Aahotep, her a formidable character.4 Tetisheri’s name (“little Teti”) suggests that she was related to a noble family of this period where the name Teti is prominent. Tetihemet, nurse of Queen Ahmes-Nefertari, the queen being Tetisheri’s granddaughter, also came from this family.5 Sources: 1. Edwards, I.E.S., Gadd, C.J., Hammond, N.G.L. and Sollberger, E. (eds.) She was almost certainly the daughter of Horhorkhuwaytef, governor of Edfu, and Sebeknakht, a king’s daughter.1 She was was described as a sister, daughter and grand daughter of kings and was probably descended from earlier rulers of the XVII and XIII dynasties (1). The chronology would be consistent with her being the grand daughter of Sobekemsaf II, daughter of Nebiryerawet I, [who were chosen as they were the longest lived of the early group of XVII dynasty pharoahs] and sister therefore to one or more of the shadowy group of short-lived pharoahs who finished the first group of the XVII Dynasty (2)..
