She was the daughter of St. Sahak.2 She was a member of the Gregorid family (confirmed by contemporary evidence of high quality), and the line can then be traced back without difficulty to the Gregorid Armenian patriarch Nerses the Great.6 Sources: Toumanoff, C. Skoglar-Toste

     Skoglar-Toste was one of the most powerful and clever in the land among those who had no high name or dignity; and he was a great warrior, who had been often in battle, and was therefore called Skoglar-Toste.1 He was born circa 920. He hosted Harald Grenske Bjornsson while he was in hiding from Eirik's sons (Harald Grafell, etc;) between 967 and 972.1 He was a witness where Haraldr Grenske Gudrødarson, Under-king in Norway spent five years in the abode of Skoglar-Toste, with whom he cruised in the summers between 967 and 972.1
