Anne Smock married Samuel Britton, son of (?) Britton, on 25 July 1799 at Mercer County, Kentucky; by the Reverend John McGraw.¹ Anne Smock witnessed (or was recognized by) the probate of the estate of Samuel Britton in October 1834 at Mercer County, Kentucky. Anne Smock died before 12 April 1851 at the home of grandson, Thomas J. Powell, Anderson County, Kentucky. A purchase of shrouding for her burial was made on 12 Apr 1851 from Felix Methany who runs a store in Salvisa.
