      Anna Eves was born circa 1714. She was the daughter of Samuel Eves and Jane Wills. Anna Eves married Hugh Hollinshead, son of John Hollinshead Jr. and Agnes Hackney, in May 1734 at the Chester Meeting, Moorestown, Chester Township, Burlington County, New Jersey.^1,2,3 Anna Eves and Hugh Hollinshead lived after May 1734 at his father's homestead on Rancocas Creek, New Jersey.⁴ Anna Eves died in March 1784 at New Jersey. Anna Eves was buried in "1784, 3, 28", Chester Township, Burlington County, New Jersey. John Hunt, a Friends minister, made this note in his diary on the event of Anna's funeral: "1784, 3, 28. First-day, Anna Hollinshead an ancient woman was buried. There was a large concourse of very raw people and a very poor time it was." The diarist refers, of course, to the spiritual feature of the occasion.³

     Caleb Bishop was born on 16 March 1715/16 at Norwich, Connecticut.¹ He married Keziah Hibbard on 19 April 1739 at Norwich, Connecticut.¹ Caleb Bishop died on 16 February 1785 at Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 68 years and 11 months.¹

     Lydia Van Dyck was born on 16 July 1704. She was the daughter of Doctor Hendrick Van Dyck and Maria Schuyler. Lydia Van Dyck married Cornelius Van Schaack Sr., son of Emanuel Van Schaack and Maria Wyngaart, in 1728. Lydia Van Dyck died on 10 June 1785 at age 80 years, 10 months and 25 days.

     Also called Frederick II, Landgrave of Hesse-Cassel.⁴ Friedrich II, Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel married Mary Hannover, daughter of Georg II August, Kurfürst von Hannover, König von Großbritannien and Wilhelmina Charlotte Karoline von Brandenburg-Ansbach.^4,2 Friedrich II, Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel was born on 14 August 1720 at Kassel.¹ He was the son of Wilhelm VIII, Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Dorothea Wilhelmine von Sachsen.^2,3 Friedrich II, Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel sent as many as 17,000 Hessian mercenaries to fight for the British in the American Revolution between 1776 and 1786.⁵ He died on 31 October 1785 at Schloss Weißenstein (heute Wilhelmshöhe, zu Kassel), at age 65 years, 2 months and 17 days.¹

     Dominee Cornelius Cozine was born on 4 November 1718 at Long Island Kings County, New York. He was the son of Jacobus Cozine and Aeltje (?). Dominee Cornelius Cozine married Antje Staats, daughter of Pieter Staats and Lummatje Vegte, before 1748. Dominee Cornelius Cozine relocated to New Jersey in 1751. He lived in 1762 at Somerset County, New Jersey. He was Dominee (or pastor) between 1772 and 1788 at the Dutch Church, Conewago Colony, York County, Pennsylvania. He died circa 1786. (There is confusion on his date of death.). Dominee Cornelius Cozine was buried in Low Dutch Cemetery, Hunterstown, Pennsylvania.

     Antje Schamp was baptized on 22 April 1746 at Dutch Reformed Church, Harlingen, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of Nicolaes Schamp and Antje Aten. Antje Schamp died in 1786 at age 39 years. This is the only sister of Adrian Schomp, and part of Adrian's estate went to pay "Dirck Low for a coffin made for a sister of said deceased."

     Suzanna (?) was born circa 1704. She married Daniel Cooke, son of Nicholas Cook Sr. and Joanna Rockwood, before 1724.¹ Suzanna (?) died after 1786.¹

     Hugh Hollinshead was born after 1737. He was the son of Hugh Hollinshead and Anna Eves.¹ Hugh Hollinshead married Eleanor French on 23 November 1775. Hugh Hollinshead died in March 1786.

     Elizabeth Busby was daughter of William Buzby and Mary Wills.² Also called Elizabeth Buzby.² She was born on 23 September 1745 at Burlington County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of William Busby and Mary Wills.¹ Elizabeth Busby witnessed the will of William Busby on 3 September 1759 at "Wellingburrow", Burlington County, Jew Jersey; yeoman; will of. Wife, Mary. Children--Elizabeth and William, both under age. Real and personal estate. Executors--the wife, Joshua Raper and Joseph Buzby.      Capt. Hendrick Smock was born on 7 January 1736 at Holmdel, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was baptized on 20 February 1736 at the Dutch Church, Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was the son of Barnes Smock and Annatje Luyster. Capt. Hendrick Smock lived in 1761 at Monmouth County, New Jersey. He married Eleanor Van Dorn, daughter of Aaron Van Dorn and Antje Schenck, on 26 May 1761 at Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey.² Capt. Hendrick Smock was a member of the New Jersey Provincial Assembly circa 1770. Captain, Monmouth Regiment in 1775. He served in the American Revolutionary War, commanding a company in the Monmouth NJ regiment of minute men in 1777, and later as a Captain in the Monmouth Artillery, and engaged the enemy at the battle of Germantown. His time of service was between 1775 and 1777.^3,4

     Lydia Stokes was named for her grandmother, the Lydia Wright who was immortalized for defending her Quaker beliefs before a hostile Puritan Church in Boston. She was born on 13 May 1710 at Burlington County, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Thomas L. Stokes of Burlington County and Deliverance Horner.¹ Lydia Stokes was bequeathed the bed and bedding and furniture thereunto in the will of her grandfather, Thomas Stokes Sr., on 13 October 1719.² She witnessed the will of Thomas Stokes of Lower Shadwell on 13 October 1719; "I, Thomas Stokes, of Waterford, in ye county of Gloster and Province of New Jersey, being weak of body but of sound mind, Praised be God, and being willing to settle in order all my concerns in this world, Do make and constitute this my Last Will and Testament ... I give and bequeath unto Lydia Stokes, the eldest daughter of my son, Thomas Stokes, my bed and beding and Furniture thereunto belonging, and if she happens to die before she be married, then this said legacie to go to Deliverance Stokes, daughter of my said son, Thomas Stokes.^3,2 " Lydia Stokes married Samuel Haines Sr., son of William Haines and Sarah Paine, in 1734 at the Chester Meeting, Moorestown, Burlington County, New Jersey.¹ Lydia Stokes married Jacob Lamb in 1750.      Rachel White was born in 1703. She married Shadrach Thayer, son of Ephraim Thayer Sr. and Sarah Bass, circa 1725.¹ Rachel White died in 1789 at age 86 years.

     Benjamin Rush was born on 3 July 1789 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Doctor Benjamin Rush and Julia Stockton.¹ Benjamin Rush died on 21 July 1789 at infancy at age 18 days. He lived three weeks. He was executor of the will of Doctor Benjamin Rush on 18 January 1812; Leaves to his wife Julia Rush, his farm called Lydenham near Philadelphia, to receive income, etcetera, for support of herself, her minor sons and daughter Julia Rush, at her death to his children. Son John's share in trust while in his present insane state. Great great grandfather, John Rush formerly an officer in Oliver Cromwell's Army.      Private Stephen Blanchard Jr. was born on 4 January 1748/49 at Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts.³ He was the son of Private Stephen Blanchard Sr. and Hannah Blanchard.^2,3 Joseph Jr. and Eleazer Blanchard appear in Wilton 16 June 1749, in deed making the grant of the township of Wilton by the Masonian Proprietors. Included is a David Adams. No Blanchards or Adams appear on the Taxpayers list of 1753 at Monson (now Milford), Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.⁴ No Blanchards or Adams appear on the Taxpayers list of 1770 (the year Monson became extinct) at Monson (now Milford), Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.⁴ Private Stephen Blanchard Jr. married Lucy (?) of Wilton.² Private Stephen Blanchard Jr. served in the Revolution War on 17 June 1775. He served with the Third New Hampshire Regiment, out of Monson (now Milford) commanded by Colonel James Reed, Capt William Walker's Company at the battle of Bunker Hill. He fought alongside his father in this battle.¹ He died on 27 July 1789 at Wilton, New Hampshire, at age 40 years, 6 months and 23 days.²

George Schamp married Mary Emmans on 2 February 1775 at Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.² George Schamp died after 1790.

     Catherine Van Nest was born on 13 September 1724 at Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.¹ She was the daughter of Pieter Van Neste and Machtel Magdalena Stol.¹ Catherine Van Nest married Isaac Huff, son of Pieter Dircksen Hoff and Catarina Broucard, circa 1748 at New Jersey.¹ Catherine Van Nest died in February 1790 at age 65 years and 4 months.¹

     Matthias Smock was born in 1732. He was the son of Jan Matthyse Smock and Lea Fontine. Matthias Smock married Geertje Post, daughter of Johannes Post and Altje Blauw, in 1755 at Raritan, Somerset County, New Jersey; This marriage stems from several clues in the Somerset Quarterly's. The first is that a couple going by Tyes and Gertye were having children baptised in Millstone Reformed Church, second, Mathias' brothers were having children baptised there as well, and the ages seem right. Cayse records confirm this: assumptions were right. Matthias Smock witnessed the will of Jan Matthyse Smock on 1 March 1760; Names wife Leah, sons "Tice", Charles, John, Reynier, Jacob, and Abraham, and daughters Leenah, wife of Powel Powelson, Elizabeth, Maria, Leah, "Geertie", Catherine and Jane. Matthias Smock relocated to Hillsborough, Somerset County, New Jersey, between 1766 and 1768. He died in 1791 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey, at age 59 years. His estate was probated on 11 May 1791 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

     Hannah Bigelow was born in 1704.¹ She married Ichabod Thayer, son of Isaac Thayer of Mendon and Hannah Winter, circa 1742.¹ Hannah Bigelow died in 1791 at age 87 years.¹

     Abigail Chandler was born on 11 September 1741 at Enfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.^1,2 She was the daughter of Isaac Chandler and Abigail Hale.¹ Abigail Chandler married Colonel and Deacon Israel Smith before 1762.¹ Abigail Chandler died in 1791 at age 49 years.¹

     John Smock was born after 1718. In the will of his father, John is mentioned with "John, at 21" meaning he was not yet at the age of majority, 21, at the time. He was the son of Leonard Hendrickse Smock and Sarah Barents. John Smock and Sytie Smock were evidently had a disagreement over the settlement of their mother's estate, which was adminstered 2 May 1755 in the court in Somerset, New Jersey. The minutes state that Sara Smock, relic of Leonard, deceased, died leaving considerable personal estate and one son and one daughter, Sytie Boice. The said son John Smock had sold part and was in possession of the remainder and had refused to administer the estate, claiming the whole of it. Sytie, and her husband George Boice, were advised to apply for letters of administration, and they were so appointed by the court on 2 May 1755 at court, Somerset County, New Jersey. John Smock left a will on 12 March 1790; In his will he mentions his son John and daughter Sarah. He died on 3 March 1791.

Abigail Sealy died on 23 April 1791 at Northport, Waldo County, Maine, at age 45 years, 3 months and 5 days. Abigail Sealy Knight died at the age of 45 years - 3 months - 5 days.

     According to the baptismal record of the First Reformed Church of Raritan (Somerville), New Jersey, the given name of his wife was "Maritje."² Matthias Matthyse Smock was born after 1706 at Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey. His date of birth can only be estimated. He was born perhaps as early as 1706, but probably later.² He was the son of Matthias Hendrickse Smock and Elizabeth Stevens Coninck.¹ Matthias Matthyse Smock witnessed the will of Matthias Hendrickse Smock on 2 October 1721; His will mentions sons Hendrick, John, Lucas, Matthias, and Jacobus, and daughters Elizabeth, Gertrude, and Mary. His wife, Elizabeth, is named as the sole executrix. Witnesses to the will were Samuel Conners, Leedert "Smack" and John Cholwell.³ Matthias Matthyse Smock married Maritje Buys, daughter of Jan Jacobszen Buys and Sytie (?), circa 1736 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey.⁴ Matthias Matthyse Smock had descendants named for him, namely: Matthew Smock. Matthias Matthyse Smock died on 11 May 1791 at Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

     Ezekiel Thayer was born on 14 May 1746 at Bellingham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.¹ He was the son of Daniel Thayer and Esther Partridge.¹ Marriage banns for Ezekiel Thayer and Huldah Thayer were published on 30 June 1771 at Bellingham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts; 1st cousins.² Ezekiel Thayer died on 22 June 1791 at Bellingham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at age 45 years, 1 month and 8 days.³

     Moses Abbott was a joiner and yeoman.^1,4 He was the sixth of the nine children of George and Elizabeth.⁴ He was born on 14 February 1698/99 at Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts.^4,5,6,7 He was the son of George Abbott of Andover and Elizabeth Ballard.^2,3 Moses Abbott first bought land in 1722 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.⁸ He served in Capt. Samuel Partridge's Company; as a Private, for eight weeks; stationed at Brookfield and Brimfield, Mass., between 10 September 1722 and 4 November 1722 at Massachusetts.⁹ He served in Capt. Samuel Partridge's Company; returned as a Private, for three weeks, two days; stationed again at Brookfield and Brimfield, Mass., between 4 November 1722 and 26 November 1722 at Massachusetts.⁹ He bought of his brother Jacob, for œ35, certain land in Brookfield lying north of Jacob's land, on 23 May 1723 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹⁰ He was bequeathed œ5 in his father's will on 1 October 1724 at Essex County, Massachusetts.¹¹ He witnessed the will of George Abbott of Andover on 1 October 1724 at Essex County, Massachusetts.¹¹ Moses Abbott married Bathsheba Gilbert, daughter of Captain Thomas Gilbert Esq. and Martha Barns, on 5 February 1724/25 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts; Married by "Rev. Mr. Cheney pasture of ye Church of Christ in Brookfield."^1,6,12,4 Moses Abbott exchanged certain land with Thomas Gilbert, gent., of Brookfield, on 30 May 1728 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹³ He joined the petition to set off the part of northwest Brookfield where he lived to New Braintree in 1749 at Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹ He lived in 1751 at New Braintree, Worcester County, Massachusetts; His place of residence, and the places of seven others, were now officially in New Braintree.¹ He also sold to John Nye, for œ85: 6s.: 8d., about 30 acres on 3 December 1771 at New Braintree, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹⁴ He sold his farm to John Nye, of New Braintree, for the goodly sum of œ3,000 on 4 March 1780 at New Braintree, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹⁵ He lived after 4 March 1780 at Greenwich (near Belchertown), Hampshire County, Massachusetts.¹ He bought about 200 acres, and the buildings thereon, for œ2,750 on 2 June 1780 at Greenwich (near Belchertown), Hampshire County, Massachusetts.¹⁶ He died before 8 November 1791 at Greenwich (near Belchertown), Hampshire County, Massachusetts.
