Van Neste (uncle and his wife)."² Joris Pietersen Van Neste witnessed the baptism of Joris Van Nest on 30 June 1703 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Raritan (Somerville), Somerset County, New Jersey; "Van Neste, Piter and wife--Joris. Witnesses: Joris Van Neste (uncle) and wife; Edvbert Garrell and wife."² Joris Pietersen Van Neste left a will on 27 January 1743/44 at Raritan, Somerset County, New Jersey; "I, Joris Vannest of Raritan, Somerset county, East Division of New Jersey, being weak of body but sound in memory, do ordain this my last will and testament; I direct that my farm, or plantation, consisting of five hundred and four acres, be put up at vendue and sold and the price paid therefor be divided among my children equally."¹ His estate was probated on 6 July 1744 at Raritan, Somerset County, New Jersey.¹

     Her married name was Van Neste. Maria Reyniersen was born circa 1679. She was the daughter of Reyniersen Van Hengel. Maria Reyniersen married Joris Pietersen Van Neste, son of Pieter Pietersen Van Nest and Judith Jorise Rapalje, circa 1699.      Divertje Cornelis and Lubbert Gysbertszen were were the subject of an article by George O. Zabriskie called "The Van Blarcom Family of New Jersey" beginning in the Record at 99:141. Divertje Cornelis was born circa 1613 at the Netherlands. She married Lubbert Gysbertszen before 1633 at the Netherlands. Divertje Cornelis and Lubbert Gysbertszen immigrated to the Rensselaerwyck Colony, New York, arriving 1634; With their 3 children. As of after 1656,her married name was Vanderbilt.
