He was the son of Sir Richard Foliot of Norton, Fenwick, Grimston, and Wellow and Margery de Stuteville.2,3 Jordon, 1st Lord Foliot was summoned for Military Service between 12 December 1276 and 30 March 1298.3 He was about to go to Wales on the King's service in July 1277.3 He inherited Cowesby, Yorkshire from his maternal uncle, Sir Robert de Stuteville.1 He married Margery de Newmarch, daughter of Sir Adam de Neumarche of Womersley, Campsall, Bentley, &c and Elizabeth de Mowbray.1 1st Lord Foliot in 1295.2 Jordon, 1st Lord Foliot was ordered to join the Army of Scotland under the Earl of Surry on 24 September 1297.3 He died before 2 May 1299. He died aged 50 and more.3

Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily was born in 1249 at Catania, Italy.5 She was the daughter of Manfred von Staufen, King of Naples and Sicily and Queen Consort Beatrix de Savoie.1,2,3,4 A contract for the marriage of Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily and Pere III "el Grando", rey de Aragón was signed in 1260.6 Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily was a witness where Manfred von Staufen, King of Naples and Sicily further strengthened his position by the betrothal of his daughter Constance to the infante Peter of Aragon in 1260.6 Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily married Pere III "el Grando", rey de Aragón, son of Jaume I, rey de Aragón and Iolande, Hercegnõ Magyarország, on 15 July 1262 at Montpellier, Herault, France; From this union descend the Aragonese Kings of Sicily.7,1,5,2,3,4,8 Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily died in 1302 at Barcelona, Spain, at age 53 years.1,5,4
