He was the son of Sir Robert le Blount and Isabel Odinsels.1 Sir William le Blount of Timberlake was accused, along with his brother Walter, before the commissioners appointed under the Dictum of Kenilworth of unlawful violence at Quinton, Northamptonshire in August 1256.2 He married Isabel de Beauchamp, daughter of William de Beauchamp, Baron of Elmley Castle and Lady Isabel Mauduit.2 Sir William le Blount of Timberlake died circa April 1280. He appears to have died in the Springtime.3

He died in 9th Edward I being at the time seised of a moiety of they barony of Schelford, in Nottinghamshire, into which moiety twelve knights' fees and a half in several counties appertained, whereof ten were for the Bailiwick of Sherwood. He likewise possessed the manors of Everingham and Farburne, co. York, and Westbury, co. Lincoln.1

     St. Thomas de Cantilupe, Bishop of Hereford was well connected, an academic with anti-royalist views, litigious, a greedy pluralist, a misogonist and an anti-semite, in other words a fairly typical product of the socially superior and intellectually advance clergy of the thirteenth century.2 He was the nephew of Walter, Bishop of Worcester.2 He was so described: a red-faced, ginger-haired man, with a large nose.3 Also called Thomas Cantelupe.4 He was born circa 1218.2 He was the son of William de Cantilupe and Millicent de Gournay.1 Bishop of Hereford at England between 1275 and 1282.2 St. Thomas de Cantilupe, Bishop of Hereford died on 25 August 1282 at Orvieto, Italy. He died on his way to Rome to appeal against his excommunication by the inflexible Archbishop Pecham for defending his rights as a suffragen.5 . The bones of Saint Thomas Cantilupe, bishop of Hereford, no longer lie within his shrine, which is still at the cathedral.6 He was canonized in 1305/6 at 34 Edward I, England.1 He was the only Englishman canonized in the fourteenth century in 1320.2

He witnessed the death of Simon V de Montfort, 6th Earl of Leicester on 4 August 1265 at the Battle of Evesham, Worcestershire, England; He was killed and beheaded, and his head was sent to Lady Wigmore as a present.9,10 Roger, 6th Lord Mortimer rescued the heir to the throne (the future King Edward I) from captivity in Hereford Castle before 1272. He was commanded to assist Pain de Chaworth, general of the king's army in West Wales, in 1276/77 at 5 Edward I.11 He was a witness where Pain de Chaworth constituted general of the king's army in West Wales, whereupon Roger de Mortimer had command to aid him with all his power, and to admit him into all his castles and garrisons, and so successful against the Welsh was he that they sued for peace and paid homage to King Edward in 1276/77 at 5 Edward I.11 Roger, 6th Lord Mortimer died on 27 October 1282 at Kingsland, Herefordshire, England, at age 51 years.4,2

She was the daughter of Thibaud I "le Chansonnier", rey de Navarra and Agnès de Beaujeu.2 Blanche de Champagne married Jean I "le Roux", duc de Bretagne, son of Pierre "Mauclerc", duc de Bretagne and Alix de Thoüars, duchesse de Bretagne, on 16 January 1235/36 at Château-Thierry.2 Blanche de Champagne died on 12 August 1283.2 Blanche de Champagne was buried in the abbey of Nôtre Dame de la Joie, near Hennebont.3
