Sancho's troops cut the chains guarding the store of Miramamolín.      Princess Berengaria Alfonsez de León was born in 1199.³ She was the daughter of Alfonso IX "el Barboro", rey de León and Berengaria Alfonsez "the Great", reina de Castilla.² Princess Berengaria Alfonsez de León married Jean de Brienne, roi de Jérusalem, son of Erard II, comte de Brienne and Agnés de Montbelliard, in 1222; His 3rd.² Princess Berengaria Alfonsez de León died on 12 April 1237 at age 38 years.²

     John "the Scot", Earl of Huntingdon and Chester was the successor of Ranulph de Blundevil, 7th Earl of Chester; 7th Earl of Chester.⁴ John "the Scot", Earl of Huntingdon and Chester was the successor of David, 9th Earl of Huntington; 8th Earl of Huntingdon.^2,5,6 John "the Scot", Earl of Huntingdon and Chester was born circa 1207.⁷ He was the son of David, 9th Earl of Huntington and Countess of Huntindon Maud de Meschines.^1,2,3 10th Earl of Huntingdon at England between 17 June 1219 and 5 June 1237.⁷ John "the Scot", Earl of Huntingdon and Chester married Jane verch Llywelyn, daughter of Llewelyn Ap Iorwerth, Prince of North Wales and Joan Plantagenet, circa 1227.³ John "the Scot", Earl of Huntingdon and Chester succeeded to the title of earl of Chester in right of his mother Maud, daughter of Ranulph de Meschines, earl of Chester, in 1232.^8,7 8th Earl of Chester at England between 26 October 1232 and 5 June 1237.^9,3 He died on 5 June 1237.      Margaret de Burgh was born in 1225. She was the daughter of Hubert de Burgh, Earl of Kent and Margaret MacCrinan.^1,2 Margaret de Burgh married Richard (de Clare), 5th Earl of Gloucester and Hertford, son of Gilbert (de Clare), 4th Earl of Gloucester and Hertford and Isabella Marshall, before November 1237; His 1st.¹ Margaret de Burgh died in November 1237 at age 12 years.¹

     Sibyl Marshall was third daughter and co-heir of Sir William Marshal by Isabel de Clare.^2,1 She was born circa 1202. She was the daughter of William "the Elder" Marshall, 4th Earl of Pembroke and Isabel, suo jure Countess of Pembroke.¹ Heiress of Kildare at Leinster, Ireland, between 16 March 1219 and 1245.² Sibyl Marshall married William III, 5th Earl of Derby, son of William II, 4th Earl of Derby and Alice of Chester, before 14 May 1219; His 1st.¹ Sibyl Marshall died before 1238.¹

     William de Cantilupe was the first of the family upon record.² He was born circa 1165. He served in the office of Sheriff for the counties of Warwick and Leicester between 1201 and 1204 at 3-5 John, England.² He was made governor of the castle of Hereford and Wilton, and subsequently sheriff of Herefordshire in 1204/5 at 6 John.² He was served as the king's steward, and gave 40 marks for the wardship of Egidia, Lady of Kilpeck, widow of William Fitz-Warine in 1209/10 at 11 John.² He remained faithful to King John, despite John's excommunication by Pope Innocent III in 1212/13 at 14 John.³ He arrayed afterwards under the baronial banner, and joined in the invitation to Louis of France circa 1215.³ He returned to the king's favor when he obtained grants of all the forfeited estates of Richard de Engaine and Vitalis de Engaine, two leading barons in the insurrection, in 1215.³ He appointed governor of Kenilworth Castle circa 1216 at Warwickshire, England.³ He remained attached to the cause of royalty in the reign of Henry III and acquired immense possessions in the shape of grants from the crown of forfeited lands after 28 October 1216.³ He died in 1238.¹

     Hugh IV de Gournay was the son of Hugo III and Milisent.¹ He was born circa 1150?. He was the son of Hugh III de Gournay and Milisent (?). Hugh IV de Gournay paid relief for his father's lands from Michaelmas 1179 to Michaelmas 1188.¹ He married Lucy (?) after 13 May 1220; Her 2nd (widow).² Hugh IV de Gournay died in 1238.
