     Áengus mac Flainn, righdhamhna Éireann was the son of Flann Sinna, rí Midi, Ard-rí na h'Éireann and Gormlaith ingen Flann Síl nÁedo Sláine.¹ Annals of the Four Masters 911: "Aenghus, son of Flann, heir apparent to the sovereignty of Ireland, was mortally wounded at Greallach-Eillte, by Cernn, son of Bernn. / Oenghas, mac Floinn, mic Maoilechlainn, righdhamhna Ereann, do ghuin i n-Grellaigh Ellte la Cern, mac Birnn." ( (an unknown value)).² Áengus mac Flainn, righdhamhna Éireann died in 911 at Greallach-Eillte. He died at the end of sixty days afterwards. In attestation of which was said:

These assertions are only made by bitter or ill-informed adversaries, and are inconsistent with what is said of him by respectable contemporaries."²

     Leo VI Philosophos, basileus Rhomaiôn was related to basileus Rhomaiôn Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus of Byzantium; mother was Zoë Carbonopsina, the 4th wife of his father, Leo VI.⁶ Leo VI Philosophos, basileus Rhomaiôn was the putative son of Basil I the Macedonian, and his second wife, Eudocia Ingerina.⁷ He was the supposed son of Michael III, his mother Eudokia Ingerina's lover.³ One means of Leo VI's DFA is through his putative father, Basil I.
