     Al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam was given the Laqab (title) "al Sibt," "Shahid-e-Karbala".³ He was a son of Fatima, the daughter of the holy Prophet.¹ He was the second of son of 'Ali bin Abi Talib and Fatimah bint Muhammad.⁴ He was born on 7 January 626 at 3rd of Sha'ban 4 A.H., al-Medina, Saudi Arabia.^1,3 He was the son of 'Alî al-Murtadha ibn Abû Tâlib, 1st Holy Imam of Islam and Fâtimah al-Zahra bint Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allâh Banu Hâshim (as).² Al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam married Shahzanaan Harar Sassanid, daughter of Yazdgard III, Shah of Iran, circa 653.⁵ Al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam was the Third Imam, The Chief of Martyrs (Sayyid al-Shuhadaa) on 26 March 670 at 28th Safar 50.¹ 3rd Holy Imâm of Islâm between 26 March 670 and 9 October 680.⁶ He refused to pledge allegiance to Yazid bin Mu`awiah as caliph in 680.<sup>4</sup> He died on 9 October 680 at 10th of Muharram (Ashura) 61 A.H., Iraq, at age 54 years, 9 months and 2 days. Defeated in the Battle of Karbala' against Caliph Yazid I of Damascus. He was martyred with his sons (except one), relatives and companions by order of Yazid.<sup>7,2,1,4</sup> He was a witness where Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph defeated the rebellion led by al-Husayn, son of 'Ali, his fourth cousin, once removed, and the 3rd Holy Imam, on 9 October 680 at the Battle of Karbala`.^7,1 Al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam was a witness where 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubair al-Qurayshi began to gather adherants after the failure of Husayns revolt on 9 October 680. Al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam was buried in Karbala, Iraq.^2,3

     Máel Dúin mac Máel Fithrich, rí Ailech was the son of Máel Fithrich mac Áeda Uaridnaich, rí Ailech and Cacht ingen Muiredaig Dál Fiatach.^1,2 Máel Dúin mac Máel Fithrich, rí Ailech married Cacht ingen Cellaich, daughter of Ard-rí na h'Éireann Cellach mac Máel Coba.³ Máel Dúin mac Máel Fithrich, rí Ailech was the father of Fergal mac Máel Dúin, rí Ailech, Ard-rí na h'Éireann; the son of Maelduin, son of Maelfithrigh.^4,5 King of Ailech at Ireland before 681. Annals of Ulster 681: "The burning of the kings in Dún Ceithirn, i.e. Dúngal son of Scannal, king of the Cruithin, and Cenn Faelad, i.e. son of Suibne, king of Ciannachta by Mael Dúin son of Mael Fithrich, at the beginning of summer. / Combustio regum i n-Dun Ceithirnn, .i. Dungal mc. Scannail, rex Cruithne, & Cenn Faelad, rex Cianachtae, .i. m. Suibni, in initio estatis la Mael Duin m. Maele Fitrich."⁶ Annals of Ulster 681: "The battle of Bla Sléibe afterwards at the beginning of winter, in which Mael Dúin son of Mael Fithrich was slain. / Bellum Blai Sleib postea in initio hiemis in quo interfectus est Mael Duin filius Maele Fithrich."⁷ Máel Dúin mac Máel Fithrich, rí Ailech died in 681 at the battle of Bla Sléibe. He was killed in battle.⁷

     Brenin Ynys Manau Merfyn Mawr ap Cynfyn o Ynys Manau was the son of Brenin Ynys Manau Cynfyn ab Anllech o Ynys Manau. Brenin Ynys Manau Merfyn Mawr ap Cynfyn o Ynys Manau also went by the name of Mervyn "the Great" Mawr = the Great. He became King of the Isle of Man following the Irish rule of the island (which before that, for a short time, its king probably ruled over the Picts in Galwyddel).¹ King of the Isles of Man before 682.² He died in 682.

     Ri Connacht Cenn Fáelad mac Colgan Uí Briúin Seóla was the son of Colgú mac Áeda Uí Briúin Seóla.³ Also called King Cenn Fáelad of Connaught. Ri Connacht Cenn Fáelad mac Colgan Uí Briúin Seóla died in 680. Ceannfaeladh, son of Colgan, King of Connaught, was slain after the house in which he was taken.⁴ 15 King of Connacht at Ireland before 682.^1,5 He died in 682.^1,6,5

     Theotchar (?) was born in 625.¹ He was the son of N. N. (?).¹ Duke in 682.¹ Theotchar (?) died in 682 at age 57 years.¹

     Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was the son of Hausmeier Liuthericus.⁴ Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was the ancestor of Hugo, Graf von Tours; possibly the son of Count Haicho, and thereby the great-great-grandson of Eticho vom Elsaß.⁴ Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was the father of Herzog im Elsaß Adalbert vom Elsaß; a son of Herzog Eticho im Elsaß and Berswinda.⁴ Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was possibly from Burgundy, and was a Patrician of Provence.⁴ Also called Adalrich.⁴ Also called Attich.⁴ He was the ancestor of Graf Haicho vom Elsaß; the great-grandson of Eticho.⁴ Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was born in 645.³ He was made Duke of the Alsace by King Childerich II, King of all Franks, in 673.⁴ Duke in the Alsace between 673 and 682.⁴ He married Berswinde des Francs, daughter of rex Austrasii Sigibertus III des Francs and regina Chinechildis des Burgondes, before 675.⁵ Herzog im Elsaß Eticho vom Elsaß was sided for a while with Ebroin, the Mayor of the Palace, after the death of Childeric II after November 675.⁴ He recognized Dagobert II as King circa 676.⁴ He saw his lands in Burgundy confiscated by Ebroin after 676.⁴ He murdered, for political reasons, the holy German von Münster-Granfelden and the librarian of the Closter.⁴ He tried to atone for the murders by founding the Frauenkloster Hohenburg, over which he set his daughter Odilia as Abbess.⁴ He died after 682.⁴ He was the predecessor of Herzog im Elsaß Adalbert vom Elsaß; Duke in the Alsace.⁴

     Theodhard, son of Theotchar, was a cousin of Irminia, abbess of Oeren.¹ Theodhard (?) was born in 650.¹ He was the son of Theotchar (?).¹ Theodhard (?) died between 682 and 706.¹

     Mathgaman mac Toirrdelbaig Uí Blait was the son of Toirrdelbach mac Cathail Uí Blait.^1,2 Mathgaman mac Toirrdelbaig Uí Blait died in 683.³

     Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph was an accomplished musician and poet and one of his verses which has survived runs as follows:
There is no true joy but lending ear to music Or wine that leaves one sunk in stupor dense; Hours in Paradise, I do not look for: Does any man of sense?. He was known as Yazid "of Wines" since he abandoned rose sherbet for the grape, an amiable and democratic prince, sportsman, musician, and poet, was for hundreds of years perhaps the most vilified ruler in history. He was born circa 645 at Arabia.³ He was the son of Mu' âwiya I ibn Abû Sufyân bin Harb, 1st Umayyad Caliph.^1,2 Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph was the successor of Mu' âwiya I ibn Abû Sufyân bin Harb, 1st Umayyad Caliph; 1st Umayyad Caliph.⁴ Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph commanded the Arab army that his father, Mu'awiyah, sent to lay siege to Constantinople between 674 and 677.³ He was a witness where 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubair al-Qurayshi refused to swear allegience to the Caliph on Yazid's accession and sought refuge in Mecca in 680. 2nd Umayyad Caliph at Damascus, Syria, between 680 and 683.^1,3 Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph witnessed the death of al-Husayn ibn 'Alî, 3rd Holy Imam of Islam on 9 October 680 at 10th of Muharram (Ashura) 61 A.H., Iraq; Defeated in the Battle of Karbala' against Caliph Yazid I of Damascus.      Of the Umayyad. Marwân I ibn al-Hakam al-Qurayshi, 4th Umayyad Caliph was named in full: Marwan bin Al-Hakam bin Abi Al-`As bin Umaiyah.<sup>5</sup> Also called Abu `l-Kasim = Father of 'l-Kasim.¹ Also called Abu `Abd al-Malik = Father of 'Abd al-Malik. He was born in 623.<sup>5,6</sup> He was the son of al-Hakim ibn Abûl 'Âs and Amina bint `Alkama al-Kinaniyya.^1,3,4 Marwân I ibn al-Hakam al-Qurayshi, 4th Umayyad Caliph married 'A'isha bint Mu`awiya ben al-Mughira, daughter of Mu`awiya ben al-Mughira, before 646.¹ Marwân I ibn al-Hakam al-Qurayshi, 4th Umayyad Caliph was a loyal follower of the Caliph 'Uthman bin 'Affan.⁵ 'A'isha, the widow of the Prophet Muhammed, rebelled against the Caliphs. Her resistance ended with her defeat in this battle. In 658 at the Battle of the Camel, Basra (now Az-Zubayr), southeastern Iraq.⁷ He a participant in 658 at the Battle of the Camel, Basra (now Az-Zubayr), southeastern Iraq.⁵ He married Aisha bint 'Uthman ibn 'Affan, daughter of 'Uthman ibn 'Affan al-Qurayshi, 3rd Rightly Guided Caliph of Islam and Ruqaiyah bint Muhammad Banu Hâshim, before 659; 1st cousins, 1x removed. Marwân I ibn al-Hakam al-Qurayshi, 4th Umayyad Caliph was the fourth Umayyad caliph, and forefather of the Marwanids in 683.⁵ 4th Umayyad Caliph at Damascus, Syria, between 683 and 685.⁵ He was an old man in poor health when he ascended the throne himself in 684.⁶ He was established the standards for weights and measurements.⁵ He died in 685 at Damascus, Syria, at age 62 years. He died of plague.^1,2,5,6 He was able to arrange the succession of his son, 'Abd al-Malik, by eliminating all other contenders for the caliphate.⁶

      Basileus Constantine IV the Heraclian was the successor of Constans II Pogonatus, basileus; Emperor of the East.³ Basileus Constantine IV the Heraclian was born circa 650.⁴ He was the son of Constans II Pogonatus, basileus and Fausta (?).^1,2 Basileus Constantine IV the Heraclian was made co-Emperor with his father in 660.⁵ Co-Emperor at Byzantine Empire between 660 and 15 September 668.⁵ He married Anastasia (?) before 668.^4,2 Basileus Constantine IV the Heraclian succeeded his father to the imperial title in 668. Emperor at Byzantine Empire between 668 and 685.^3,6 He was a witness where Yazîd I ibn Mu'âwiya, 2nd Umayyad Caliph commanded the Arab army that his father, Mu'awiyah, sent to lay siege to Constantinople between 674 and 677.⁷ Basileus Constantine IV the Heraclian withstood a four-year Arab siege of Constantinople, greatly enhancing Byzantine prestige and indeed marking a turning point in European history, between 674 and 678.⁶ He could not prevent the Bulgars from crossing the Danube River and establishing their kingdom in the district where their name still survives; and then he had to recognize their kingdom and pay them annual tribute.⁶ He summoned the sixth ecumenical Council of Constantinople, which condemned monothelitism and recognized the orthodox christological doctrine as laid down by the Council of Chalcedon (451), between 680 and 681.⁶ He died in 685. Died from dysentery.^4,6

     Ecgfrith, King of Northumbria was born circa 634. He was the son of Oswiu, High King of the English and Eanflæd of Northumbria.^1,2 Ecgfrith, King of Northumbria married Æthelthryth, daughter of Anna, King of the East Angles and Sæwara (?).³ King of Northumbria between 15 February 670 and 20 May 685.^1,4,2 Ecgfrith, King of Northumbria appeared in a charter (deemed spurious, but with some possibly genuine elements) which read "Ecgfrith, king of Northumbria, to Cuthbert; grant of land at Crayke, Yorks. N.R., and at Lugubalia (Carlisle)" in 685.⁴ Northumbrians, under King Egfrith, attempt an invasion of Pictland but were defeated by Brude mac Bile of the Picts. On 20 May 685 at the Battle of Nectansmere, near modern Forfar, Pictland.^2,5 He died on 20 May 685 at the Battle of Nectansmere. Killed in battle against the Picts in his attempted invasion of Pictland.^1,2 He was a witness where King of Picts Brude III map Bili defeated the Northumbrians and their attempted invasion of Pictland on 20 May 685 at the Battle of Nectansmere.²

     Also called Erwig. Ervigio, King of the Visigoths was born circa 620. He was the son of Ardabast the Visigoth.² Ervigio, King of the Visigoths married Liubigotona the Visigoth, daughter of Swinthila, King of Spain and Theodora the Visigoth, circa 635. Ervigio, King of the Visigoths was born circa 660. King of the Visigoths at Spain between 680 and 697. He died circa 687. He died on 15 November 687.

     Mayor of the Palace at Neustria, Frankish Kingdoms, before 686.¹ Berchar de Neustrie was a witness where Pippin II "le Gros", dux Austrasii, maiorus domus routed the Neustrians, eclipsing the Neustrian Mayors, and allowing Arnulfing (Austrasian) Mayors to intervene in Neustrian affairs at will, in 687 at the Battle of Tertry, St. Quentin.^2,1 Berchar de Neustrie died in 687 at the Battle of Tertry, St. Quentin. Killed in battle against Pepin and the Austrasians.¹

     Mul of Wessex was the son of King of Wessex Coenberht of Wessex.¹ Mul of Wessex died in 687.¹

     Boggis, duc d' Aquitaine was born circa 626 at Aquitaine.¹ He was the son of Charibert II, roi d' Aquitaine and Fulberte (?).² Boggis, duc d' Aquitaine married Oda des Francs, daughter of Chlothacharius II, rex Francorum and Sichilde d' Ardennes, before 646.¹ Duke of Gascony before 688.³ Duke of Aquitaine before 688. Boggis, duc d' Aquitaine died circa 688.¹

     Uarchride mac Dícolla Uí Echach Coba was the son of Dícuill mac Coluimb Uí Echach Coba.² King of Conaille before 688. Uarchride mac Dícolla Uí Echach Coba died in 688.¹

     Diarmait Dian, rí Midi was the son of Airmetach Cáech mac Conaill,.¹ Diarmait Dian, rí Midi died in 689.²

     King of Wessex Cædwalla of Wessex was born circa 659.² He was the son of King of Wessex Coenberht of Wessex.¹ King of Wessex between 685 and 688.¹ King of Wessex Cædwalla of Wessex abdicated in 688.² He died on 20 April 689.²

     Chlodulf, évêque de Metz was born in 596. He was the son of Arnulf, évêque de Metz and Dode de Metz. Bishop of Metz between 657 and 697.¹ Chlodulf, évêque de Metz died in 690 at age 94 years.

     King of Brittany Alain II Hir ap Judicaël de Bretagne also went by the name of Alain "the Tall" Hir = the Tall. He was the uncle of Prince of Cornouaille Concar Cheroenoc de Bretagne; nephew of Alain II, King of Brittany.³ King of Brittany Alain II Hir ap Judicaël de Bretagne was born circa 630.¹ He was the son of King of Brittany Judicaël ap Hoël de Bretagne.¹ King of Brittany Alain II Hir ap Judicaël de Bretagne was a witness where Cadwaladr Fendigaid ap Cadwallon, Brenin Gwynedd sought refuge from the civil war in Brittany with King Alain II between 643 and 645.⁴ King of Brittany at France before 690.¹ King of Brittany Alain II Hir ap Judicaël de Bretagne died in 690.^1,2

     Also called Thierry III. Theudericus III, rex Francorum, vir inluster was born in 654.⁵ He was the son of Chlodoveus II, rex Francorum, viris inlustribus and Balthild the Anglo-Saxon.^2,3,4 Theudericus III, rex Francorum, vir inluster succeeded his brother, Chlotar III, with the help of Ebroïn, Mayor of the Palace, to the Neustrian throne in 673. King of Burgundy at Frankish Kingdoms between 673 and 691.⁶ 7th King of Neustria at Paris, Frankish Kingdoms, between 673 and 691.^7,8 He was deposed and restored in 675.⁴ He married Chrodechildis, reginae, daughter of Ansegisel, domesticus and St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne, in 675.^2,5 Theudericus III, rex Francorum, vir inluster was was the Merovingian ruler who succeeded his brother Chlotar III as king of Neustria and Burgundy in 673, at the instigation of Ebroïn, the Neustrian mayor of the palace. He was soon deposed by another brother, Childeric II, was restored in 675, then was momentarily deposed again in favour of a certain Clovis (allegedly Chlotar III's son), but recovered his throne. Finally, in 679, he also became king of Austrasia. A puppet pure and simple, he then had to watch his subjects fight one another until the final victory of Pepin II and the Austrasians at the Battle of Tertry in 687.
Diplomatum Imperii 4 September 677: "Theudericus III. rex Adalrici ducis, qui se contra regem Austrasiis sociaverat, proprietatem, scilicit Fiscalselinum cum adiacentius suis, monasterio Fontis Besuae et Waldaleno abbati concedit."⁹ King of Austrasia at Rheims, Frankish Kingdoms, between 679 and 691.⁶ He married Dode, Queen of the Franks, daughter of Ansegisel, domesticus and St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne, circa 681.¹⁰ Theudericus III, rex Francorum, vir inluster was allowed to remain on the Neustrian throne by the Austrasian Mayor of the Palace, Pepin of Herstal, in 687.¹¹ Diplomatum Imperii 30 October 688: "Theudericus III. rex ad instantium Chrodechildis reginae et Bercharii maioris-domus monasterio S. Dionysii villain regiam Latiniaco in pago Meldequo ---."¹² He died in 691 at age 37 years.^4,5

He was the son of Arschawir I Kamsarakan. Narses II Kamsarakan, Marzpan of Armenia married Susan (?).² Per the dated building inscription located on either side of the window on the west wall, the church of St. Mary's was built by Nerses Badrig Gamsaragan (nobleman) in 689.² Narses II Kamsarakan, Marzpan of Armenia commissioned the building the St. Asdvadzadzin (St. Mary's), aka the Holy Virgin Church, built for his wife, Susan, and their son Hrahat’s salvation in 689 at T'alin, Armenia.² He was the presiding prince of Armenia for the emperor and held the high Byzantine position of curopalate between 689 and 691.¹ He held the office of marzpan after Ashot, who was slain by the Arabs, for three years.³ Viceroy of Armenia at Byzantine Empire, Transcaucasia, between 690 and 691.⁴ He died in 691. He was the predecessor of Smbat V Buratean, Prince of the Bagratids; Marzpan of Armenia.³

     Rí Uladh Fergus mac Áedán Uí Echach Coba was the son of rí Uí Eathach Cobha Áedán mac Mongáin Uí Echach Coba. King of Uladh at Ulster, Ireland. Rí Uladh Fergus mac Áedán Uí Echach Coba married Máel Teglaig ingen Máel Odar, daughter of Máel Odar Cáech mac Feradaig. Rí Uladh Fergus mac Áedán Uí Echach Coba died in 692.

     Also called Ibn al-Zubayr. 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubair al-Qurayshi was born in 624. He was the son of Zubair ibn al-Awam al-Qurayshi and Asma'aa Zat al-Neetagain bint Abu Bakr al-Makkiyya. 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubair al-Qurayshi refused to swear allegience to the Caliph on Yazid's accession and sought refuge in Mecca in 680. He began to gather adherants after the failure of Husayns revolt on 9 October 680. He declared Yazid deposed in 682. He died in 692 at Mecca, Saudi Arabia, at age 68 years. He had defended the city from the caliph Abd al-Malik who had sent a Syrian army to Mecca under the command of al-Hajjaj ibn Yosef; the city was beseiged for six months. He was killed on the battlefield.¹

     Chariveus de Laon was born in 660.¹ He married Irmina (?), daughter of Hugobert (?) and Theodrada de Tongres. Count(?) of Laon between 680 and 692.¹ Chariveus de Laon died between 692 and 696.¹

     Also called Chlotilde. Chrodechildis, reginae was born circa 653. She was the daughter of Ansegisel, domesticus and St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne.² Chrodechildis, reginae married Theudericus III, rex Francorum, vir inluster, son of Chlodoveus II, rex Francorum, viris inlustribus and Balthild the Anglo-Saxon, in 675.^3,2 Diplomatum Imperii 30 October 688: "Theudericus III. rex ad instantium Chrodechildis reginae et Bercharii maioris-domus monasterio S. Dionysii villain regiam Latiniaco in pago Meldequo ---."¹ Chrodechildis, reginae died after 5 June 692.⁴

     Rí Laigin Bran Mut mac Conaill Uí Dúnlainge was born circa 648. He was the son of Conall mac Fáeláin Uí Dúnlainge and Condadil ingen Crundmaíl Uí Dúnlainge.^2,3,4,5,1 Rí Laigin Bran Mut mac Conaill Uí Dúnlainge married Almaith ingen Blaithmeic, daughter of Blathmac mac Eogain and Etain ingen Mongáin, in 677.⁶ King of Laigin between 680 and 693.^2,1 Rí Laigin Bran Mut mac Conaill Uí Dúnlainge died in 693.^2,7,3,1,8

     Nakharar.⁴ Artavazd Mamikonean, nakharar was born circa 655.⁵ He was the son of Hamazasp III Mamikonean, marzpan of Armenia and N. N. Rštouni.^2,3 Artavazd Mamikonean, nakharar died after 693.⁶

     Hugobert (?) married Theodrada de Tongres, daughter of Bishop Theodhard de Tongres.¹ Hugobert (?) was born in 635.¹ Seneschal in 693.¹ He died after 693.¹

     Also called Gariberga.⁶ St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne was daughter of Pepin of Landen, mayor of the palace, and St. Itta.⁷ She was born after 614 at Landen, Liege, Belgium. She was the daughter of Pippin I "l' ancien", maiordomus d' Austrasie and Idoberga, fondatrice Nivelles.^2,3,4,5 St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne married Ansegisel, domesticus, son of Arnulf, évêque de Metz and Dode de Metz, in November 635.^1,3,4,5,7 St. Begga, abbesse d' Andenne built a church and convent at Andenne on the Meuse River in 691.^6,8 She died on 17 December 693. Her feast day is December 17th.⁷

     Also called of Herstal. Dode, Queen of the Franks was born after 651. She was the daughter of Anna, King of the East Angles and Sæwara (?).^2,3 Seaxburh, Queen of Kent married Earconbert, King of Kent, son of King of Kent Eadbald of Kent and Emma des Francs, before 660. Abbess of Ely at Cambridgeshire, England, in 679.¹ Seaxburh, Queen of Kent died circa 700.¹

     The Obodrites were the northwesternmost of the Slav tribes in medieval Europe, occupying lands in the area of northeastern coastal Germany.. Vislas I, King of the Obodrites married Petrussa, Princess of the Lombards, daughter of Aribert II, Langobardenkönig, before 675.¹ Vislas I, King of the Obodrites died in 700.¹

During these occurrences Cunincpert, a ruler most beloved by all, after he had held for twelve years alone, succeeding his father, the kingdom of the Langobards, was finally withdrawn from this life.⁶ He was the predecessor of Liutpert, Langobardenkönig; King of the Langobards.⁷

     Reginpert, Duke of Turin was born circa 655. Loingsech was the second of these 12.² Loingsech mac Áengusa, *Ard-rí na h'Éireann* married Muireand ingen Cellaich Cuallain Uí Máil, daughter of rí Laigin Cellach Cualann mac Gerthide Uí Máil.³ Loingsech mac Áengusa, *Ard-rí na h'Éireann* was the father of Flaithbertach mac Loingsech, Ard-rí na h'Éireann; the son of Loingseach, son of Aenghus.⁴ Loingsech mac Áengusa, *Ard-rí na h'Éireann* ruled his first year over Ireland in 694.⁵ 24th High-King of Ireland between 695 and 704. He died in 701. "For 701, After Loingseach, son of Aenghus, son of Domhnall, had been eight years in the sovereignty of Ireland, he was slain in the battle of Corann, by Ceallach of Loch Cime, the son of Raghallach. There were slain also his three sons along with him, Artghal, Connachtach, and Flann Gearg."⁵
