Allowed 12 days billeting and 11 days travel from Albany to Worcester; recieved $4 bounty.8,9 He served in the Crown Point Expedition, in Capt. Sylvanus Walker's Company, Colonel Brown's Regiment, serving as a Corporal for 29 weeks, six days, from 10 May 1759 to 4 December 1759.8 He sold his place to John Lynde, of Brookfield, for œ200, in 1773 at Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts.10 He bought 53 acres for œ140 on 5 April 1777 at Shutesbury (west of New Salem), Franklin County, Massachusetts.11 He lived from 5 April 1777 to 9 January 1779 at Shutesbury (west of New Salem), Franklin County, Massachusetts.5 He probably sold the land he bought in 1777 for œ800 (a profit of œ660!) on 9 January 1779 at Shutesbury (west of New Salem), Franklin County, Massachusetts.11

Children--James (who has son John), Daniel, John, Mary Ewer, Ann. Real and personal estate (a negro boy, a book of "Chirurgery called Ambros Parry," other books, a watch). Son John sole executor. Witnesses--Christopher Wetherill and Joseph Smith.2,1 His estate was probated on 11 November 1700.1
