She was the daughter of Matthias Mattsson and Catharine Mattsson, Mrs..^3,2 Margareta Mattsson was a witness where Matthias Mattsson arrived in New Sweden aboard the Mercurius in 1656.⁴ Margareta Mattsson married Hendrick Andersson Smith before 1678.^1,2 Margareta Mattsson was "of Penn's Neck" before 1678.² She lived in 1699 at Crane Hook.³ She was assigned a pew in the church, known to have contributed money for the its building, and noted as the widow of Hendrick Andersson and as being from Crane Hook, on 24 June 1699 at Fort Christina (now Wilmington), Delaware.^3,5

     Catharine Mattsson, Mrs. was born circa 1628 at Värmland. She married Matthias Mattsson circa 1648 at Värmland.¹ Catharine Mattsson, Mrs. was a witness where Matthias Mattsson arrived in New Sweden aboard the Mercurius in 1656.³ Catharine Mattsson, Mrs. saw her late husbands land patented to Matthias Nilsson in trust for her and her children on 11 May 1678 at Boughttown (now Penn's Grove), Salem County, New Jersey.³

Caleb Wright witnessed the will of Nicholas Wright IV on 10 April 1674 at Oyster Bay, Long Island, New Jersey; "I, Nicholas Wright, aged sixty-five years or thereabouts, being sick and weake, yett in perfect memory, Doe bequeave my Soule to the Almighty God that gave it me, and my Body to the Yearth from whome it came. ..."^1,2,3

     John Wright was born circa 1646. He was the son of Nicholas Wright IV and Ann Beaupre. John Wright married Mary Townsend, daughter of Henry Townsend, circa 1671. John Wright witnessed the will of Nicholas Wright IV on 10 April 1674 at Oyster Bay, Long Island, New Jersey; "I, Nicholas Wright, aged sixty-five years or thereabouts, being sick and weake, yett in perfect memory, Doe bequeave my Soule to the Almighty God that gave it me, and my Body to the Yearth from whome it came. ..."^1,2,3

This, it is believed, was the first case of divorce by this court.^2,1 Rebecca Wright married William Frost in 1672; Her 2nd (divorcée). Rebecca Wright was by her second husband the mother of two children, sons, from whom descended a numerous and prolific progeny.²
