Alexander Boyd
I am interested in any data on an Alexander Boyd
Esq., of Waterford, Ireland
who died in 1745. He married 1st, Jane Hawford
and second Uryth Mason. His
children by Jane: James Boyd, dead by 1745;
Robert Boyd of Glenshaw mentioned
as eldest surviving son in father's will in 1745;
George Boyd was named executor
in the will; Frances Boyd, married a ?
Ward; Ellen Boyd married an ? Elliot;
Elizabeth Boyd married ? Napper;
aforementioned daughters all mentioned in father's
will; Jane Boyd born 1723 married Darcius Drake
(born 1711) who was named executor
of father-in-law's will; Mary Boyd who
married William Paul of Waterford; and finally
Ann Boyd who married Robert Carr Winckworth.
Robert and Ann Boyd Winckworth had several children,
one of whom was Jane Winckworth
(died June 4, 1844, Surrey, England) who married
Humphrey Bunster (died 8 Nov 1807 at
Cornwall). Their son, Grosvenor Bunster (Royal
Navy) who was bapt. 25 July 1790 married
Elizabeth Bunster 25 December 1817 in London.
Their daughter Josephine Rosario Bunster
married John C. Searle 7 March 1823 at Valpairaiso,
Chile. They had one son Andres
Valenzuela Searle (me).
One son by second wife Uryth Mason named John
Boyd and was also named executor of his
father's will in 1745.
I would be very grateful if anyone could give me data on Alexander Boyd's parents.

Upper and Lower, liberties of
city of Waterford, by marriage articles with
my late wife Urith Boyd alias
Mason, 1,000 of this for my daughter Jane
Drake's fortune. Settlement made
by me on my eldest son James Boyd, deceased,
on his marriage. My grandsons by
him Alexander and Thomas Boyd.

Dunkit[t], Co. Kilkenny which I purchased from
Thos. Hillam and
Jane his wife
and to which Thos. Mackey is now tenant.
My house which I dwell in in city of
Waterford. Town and lands of Knockhouse,
Co. of the city of Waterford.
