The following extract was taken from notes my father, John Dall Chalmers, made from "Fasti Ecclesiae Scoticanae" in his researches into his own Chalmers line.


John Chalmers(primus) - minister in 1598 - died 1642. (See also reference from "Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature Vol XI")
