Will dated September 4, 1773, proved in January 1773/74 by witnesses Richard Batte and Peter Elam. Lived at his farm in Dale Parish, Chesterfield county, VA.
Died before July 1781, will dated Nov. 26, 1775. Probably died unmarried.
There is a John Bowman, Jr. listed as a property owner in the "Alphabetical Rent Roll of Virginia 1704/05" for Henrico County. Could he be this John's father?
