I need some help from someone near Monroeville. Hopefully, the information I need would be in a Monroeville Cemetery. Fact 1: Sarah Holmes b: 1822 OH dau/of Thomas and Sarah Holmes, married James Fones WELLS on 13 Feb 1844 in Monroeville. She filed for divorce, per Norwalk newspaper 02 Jul 1850, for desertion. She is living with her widowed mother, Sarah (b: 1800 NY, widow of Thomas), on the 19 Jul 1850 census in Norwalk. Sarah Wells is not listed in the Huron Co. Cemetery Index. Fact 2: Two small boys appear on the 01 Jun 1850 Mortality Census for Norwalk, Huron Co., Ohio as dying of Scarlet Fever - Fonce Wells b: c Mar 1849 OH and George Wells b: c Sep 1845 OH both d: Sep 1849. They do not appear on Huron Co. Cemetery Index by Huron Co. Genealogy Society. I suspect these boys 'may' be the children of Sarah and James F Wells, but no proof. Need help finding: 1) Death and burial of Sarah (Holmes) WELLS? 2) Burial of Fonce and George WELLS? 3) Burial of Thomas and Sarah WELLS? 4) Did Sarah remarry after her divorce in 1850? 5) Parents of two boys, Fonce and George WELLS? Any help would be appreciated. James Fones Wells is my direct line via a daughter from his 2nd marriage.
