Ansel FROST served in Company D, 102nd Ohio Infantry which was recruited in Richland County. He is listed as a resident of Huron Co 1850- 1880 Census and a resident of Norwalk, Huron County in the 1890 Vet Census. The cemetery book has him listed with a GAR marker. Would anyone have further info on him?

Gloria Ishida Lookup Results-- There is a Moses M. IRVINE listed in the 1920 census, in Hardin County, Marion Township, Ohio, age 36, farmer, onion farm. Wife, Artie, age 48 (!), she cannot read or write. Son, Frank, age 6, 2 boarders, Kentucky born as were parents of Moses. There is a Moses H. IRVINE who died in Fayette County, Kentucky in 1917. Moses Marion IRVINE also draft registration for WW I, verified by employer in Alger, Ohio, residence in Brainerd, Floyd, Kentucky, wife also noted in that residence Floyd County is in the far eastern part of Kentucky. Alger is near Lima, so he must have been a migrant worker. Couldn't begin with parents -- There seem to be thousands of Irvines in Kentucky. You might go to the Floyd County genealogical sites.

Would you please look in "Cemetery Inscriptions of Huron County, Ohio" the names Eli and Nancy HENDERSON. I think Eli would have died between 1870-1880 and Nancy after the 1860 census and before the 1870 census. If I read the index correctly on the Huron site they should be on page 140.

There are 4 David HUBBELL with Rev. war records. How can I to decide which one is right? My David HUBBELL ancestor was father of Laura, Harriet, Oliver, Hanna, Julius, Charles and Solomon from what I can determine. DAR Alice Messenger Cortright and Josephine Van Dorsten Holch both have David and Jedidiah as ancestors. Both are showing them born in Newton, Connecticut. Can anyone clarify birthplaces? I've been told by another researcher of this family, that Jedediah was married 5 times. This makes it yet harder to figure this out.
