I am searching for any data on what happened to Satira CAMPBELL, daughter of Lorenzo Q. CAMPBELL and Betsy MATHER, who was born in Huron Co., 31 Oct 1836. She purportedly married twice, the first time (date unknown) to a John H. EASTER; then, secondly, to a Jesse SNYDER. She died 4 Sep 1864. Would anyone out there be researching these families and know what became of her/them? And whether or not there are any descendants?

Ken Shute Look Up Results - I have some information for you from our Huron County, Ohio publications and one online web site that might be helpful. It appears that Satira A. CAMPBELL and John H. EASTER died relatively young, at ages about 28 and 29 respectively. Further, John died only about seven months after he married Satira, so there might be some question as to whether they had any children, possibly at most only one following John's death. I didn't find any record of such. Here's the information-- 1. Huron County, Ohio Marriages, 1815-1900, by Scheuer Publications. Satira A. CAMPBELL m. John H. EASTER 7 Mar 1859. Book 1, Page 193. Satura (sic) A. CAMPBELL m. Jesse SNYDER 14 Sep 1863. Book 1, Page 402. Jesse SNYDER m. Martha DICKINSON 1 Jan 1866. Book 1, Page 504. 2. Huron County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions. Williams, 1879. Page 304. Chapter on New Haven Township. Jesse SNYDER was mentioned as a member of the school board in 1879. 4. History of Huron County, Ohio,by A. J. Baughman, 1909. Volume 2, Page 425. Biographical sketch on Frank CAMPBELL.. Mentions that Frank's parents were Lorenzo Q. and Betsy (MATHER) CAMPBELL. Frank was a native of Genoa, Cayuga County, New York, and Betsy was born in Greenfield Township, Huron County, Ohio. It further states that Frank CAMPBELL had only one sister, Sitire (sic) who is now deceased (1879). She was twice married and both her husbands, John H. EASTER, and Jesse SNYDER, have also passed away (1879). 5. www.familysearch.org. Individual Record. John Howard EASTER Born- 1830, Greenfield Township, Huron County, Ohio. Sarah EASTER is the daughter of Epenetus and Huldah HOWARD STARR. Epenetus is a direct descendent of mine, going down through his son Cyrenius and Cyrenius' daughter Alvira Mercy. Do your records show when James EASTER married Sarah or if there were children other than John?

In August, Pat Hansen kindly helped me with some MUNSELL research by providing burial information on Solomon and Betsey MUNSEL's family. The burial lot was in Fitchville Cemetery, Section 1, Lot 45, owned by S. STRIKER and Malvina JOHNSON. The burial was in 1847. I am seeking additional information on Malvina JOHNSON and/or S. STRIKER. Betsey STRIKER appears in the 1850 Federal Census OH, Huron Co, Hartland TWP as a member of Solomon and Betsey MUNSEL's household, so naturally, I am looking for the connection to the STRIKER name. I'm not sure what type of resource to check for Malvina JOHNSON and S. STRIKER. I have checked ancestry.com and heritagequest.com records. If anyone comes across either or these names - especially S. STRIKER, I'd really appreciate your passing it on.

The KANEVEL name caught my eye. We have been trying to establish the April 23, 1846 wedding of a Mary E. LUTTS (dob 1830, dod April 8, 1911) to Fredrick KNAVEL, DOB abt. 1820, in Ohio. Albert, Carnilia and Emma were their children.

I need information from the Ohio marriages database for 1803-1900. I am looking for James PATTON (commonly misspelled PATTEN) and Rachel DAVIS. According to info given me by the HCCOGS they were married 14 Feb 1804 but have no idea exactly where. Also interested in names of parents and specific places of birth.

Alice Duncan Look Up Results - 1804 seems early for a Huron Ohio marriage. Maybe m. in NY. Seems like a lot of Huron pioneers came from there. I found many family groups in 1800 census from Aurelia, NY area who were burned out in Conn. and settled in the firelands, Huron County, Ohio.

Sherri Baillie Look Up Results - Went on Ancestry.com and could not find a Rachel DAVIS at all. The earliest there is for a James PATTON is 1857 in Seneca Co. I tried both spellings and soundex.
