I have been tracing a family member that has lead me to Belleveue, Ohio. The only things I have is a birthday book with family members that match the name and where they were born which is Belleveue, Ohio. I started on your birth, death and everything in between but when I came to Anderson it wasn't recorded. The main person is E. Louise PENNELL ANDERSON who was born in Honeoye, NY, Ontario County in 1/28/1836. I feel she must have married an ANDERSON and possibly started their family in Belevue. Here are the names I have: Charles Emery ANDERSON 4/13/1868, Minnie L. ANDERSON CLARK 5/26/1860, John ANDERSON CLARK 10/19/1879, Mary Louise CLARK 10/21/1881, Annie Bessie CLARK 5/16/1884. My main person is PENNELL. I have a Martha PENNELL that was born in 1806 and Ohio was in the death date. I am not sure what County I should be looking in. Can you please help me?

I am David Cole's gggg-grandson and have been trying to find other researchers also interested in this line. David did indeed return to New York and joined the Shakers; his name and membership can be found in their book, "The Small Notebook," now preserved at Pittsfield, MA. He died at the Helaberg Settlement, near Waterviliet, New York. He officially joined on 24 Dec. 1827 and died there on May 15 1866. The records of the South Family indicate that Edward Cole, age 21, visited on 22 May 1828, possibly to arrange for the transfer of the property in Huron Co., OH. A handwritten deed for the property was dated 6 August 1828. I have much information concerning the descendants of two of David's children and desire to learn about the others.

He came out first in 1818. He is now nearly eighty years of age. His wife died in January, 1876" Attrusha is not mentioned in E.B.
