Looking for ancestors of my father R.G. Martin who was born in Fitchville Ohio, and his father William W. Martin. William served in the Civil War. William joined Company "C" of the 166 Regiment Ohio Infantry Volunteers May 2, 1864. Mary Hinkley may also have been born in Ohio. I have no information on when the Martins or Hinkleys came from New York to Ohio.

Aaron Strimple was born in New Jersey in 1803. He died in 1890 and was buried in Greenwich Township, Huron County, Ohio. He married about 1828 Keziah Stout. She was born in New Jersey in 1804 and died in 1886 (and was buried in Huron County, Ohio). In 1839 Aaron Strimple and his family moved to New Haven township, Huron county, Ohio, with three other families. He later lived in Richland county, Ohio, and Greenwich township, Huron county,Ohio. I'm seeking a more specific place of birth for him and names of his parents.
