Sells tract of land in Allegheny co., PA bounded by the lands of Andrew Porter, which formerly belonged to said Beatty, afsd. and land of Hugh Davis and others which was granted unto a certain John Wilkins by an application and order of survey for 300A, No. 398, bearing date at Philadelphia, 3 Apr. 1769, which was surveyed unto said Beatty and likewise returned. This article of agreement made 12 July 1825 between James Beatty and Katharine, his wife, of the one part and William Beatty, son of the sd. James and Katharine Beatty of the other part, all of Allegheny county and state of Pennsylvania. Witnesseth that whereas the aforesaid James and Katharine is now becoming aged and infirm and not able to labor and to procure a maintenance or support and whereas the said James Beatty and Katharine his wife is at present in right and in the possession of a certain tract of land on which they now reside lying and being in Wilkins twp., Allegheny co., PA. Bounded as follows: -on the west by lands of John Willson, on north by the lands of Hance Woods, on the east and northeast by the lands of Thomas May and Samuel Uer and on the south and southeast by the lands of the heirs of John Johnston, Esq. and John Kelly's heirs containing 75 acres, thereabouts.
James Beatty and Katharine his wife have granted, bargained, sold and confirm unto William Beatty, subject to the following conditions and payments.- I, William Beatty pay to said James and Katharine Beatty such sums from time to time of money as will be necessary to procure a comfortable support and maintenance for them during their natural life and at time of funeral if either should require to provide a funeral, etc. etc. and keep accurate accounts and it is to be used against the price set by five men chosen by said William and the other heirs of said James and Katharine, each of which shall be the choice of one. (So five men each chosen by one of the five heirs shall set the worth of the land-DVZ) -One fifth part paid to Ellie Beatty, son of said James and Katharine or to
his heirs. -One fifth part to James Beatty or his heirs, son of aforesaid James and Katharine.

This indenture made 26 day of January 1773 between William Baty of Cumberland county and Province of Pennsylvania, farmer, of the one part & Joseph Clugston of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Beattey for 50� current money paid by said Joseph Clugston. William Beattey confers upon Joseph Clugston all that tract or parcel of land situate in Bedford county on the waters of Turtle Creek adjoining other lands of the said Beattey's, Robert Johnston and Adam Dickey, surveyed by virtue of a location for 300 acres with the allowance, with the appurtenances...

of the one part and William Clugston of aforesaid county of the other part.
Joseph Clugston for 200� confers upon William Clugston part of a tract of
land lying and being in Plumb township, Allegheny county, in the state
aforesaid. Beginning at a post the corner of Joseph Beatty's land and
running west 233 perches to a spanish oak tree..S 117 perches.E233 perches
and a straightline to the beginning containing 150 acres of land.
