Anna Belle3 McDonnell (Mary R.2, Bridget1 Blaney, DanielA) was born in Ohio c. 1861. She was the daughter of Alexander Ryle McDonnell and Mary McDonnell. [1]
By 1880, Anna Belle had married Charles Watson, born in Gallipolis, Galia Co. Ohio c. 1856. His father was born in New York and his mother in Virginia. In 1880 the census gave Charles' occupation as farmer, but on his son's 1887 birth record it was described as schoolteacher. [2] No record of Anna Belle or Charles Watson has been found in Cass County after the death of their son in 1887. Anna Belle was almost certainly dead by 1900, when the census record for her mother indicated that she had only two living children, and Francis and Nellie were both still living. [3]
Anna Belle McDonnell and Charles Watson had the following child:
