Ora Anna3 McDonnell (Henry B.2, Bridget1 Blaney, DanielA) was born in Missouri in July 1879, the daughter of Henry B. McDonnell and Elizabeth J. Parker. [1]
Ora married Joseph Marvin Horn on 3 March 1901. Marvin was born on 23 July 1976 in Harrisonville, Cass Co. MO. [2] He was the son of Joseph Horn and his wife Harriet, both born in Indiana. Marvin was working as a telegrapher in Harrisonville in 1900, shortly before he married Ora. [3]
In 1909 Marvin moved his family to Chillicothe, Livinston Co. MO, where he got a job as salesman with the Bert V. Gill Motor Company. In about 1932 he became a salesman for the Robertson Motor Company. He was a member of the Elm Street Methodist Church. [4] Ora was a member of the Chillicothe Culture Club, in which she was a member of the Library Board and the director of the Needle Guild. [5]
Marvin died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 64 on 19 October 1940 at his home in Chillicothe. He was buried in Edgewood Cemetery. [6]
Ora Anna McDonnell and Joseph Marvin Horn had the following children:
