Before 1900 the largest religious groups in Idaho were The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons), the Roman Catholic, the Methodist Episcopal, and the Presbyterian churches.

Bible & Cemetery Records

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Collection contains some Bible records and some cemetery inscriptions from Idaho.

An indexed collection of tombstone inscriptions is Cemetery Records of Idaho, 12 vols. (Salt Lake City: Genealogical Society, 1952-68; Family History Library film 824262 items 3-266).
