The Art of Lillian Tharp Maxwell
Grandmother Maxwell worked in watercolor and chalk to celebrate the natural settings, birds,
and flowers of Missouri and San Juan County, Colorado.
In 1898 Lillian painted this wonderful chalk landscape of an old Missouri apple orchard.
