  General Notes:

One of the incorporators of the "New Royal African Company", chartered at Westminster, 27 Sep 1672. Purpose of company was to trade with Guinea, Binney, Angola and Sourth Barbary in Africa.

23 Jul 1686: Gab. Roberts, Deputy-Gov of Royal African Co., wrote "Mr. John Winder came ashore sick and remains at Deal," where he probably died. ²
