[snip] I am a descendant of Charity Boyett (Winder), and my grandmother's sister was Frances Belzora Boyett Winder. I'm sure you have had your share of Boyett's contacting you, so I know I'm not the first...they're all looking for clues about Chatham and Charity Boyett. Anyway, I was wondering if you happen to be in contact with any living descendants of Fannie Winder. My grandmother was Sarah Alice Boyett Quine. I have a photograph of Fannie and John Winder. By the way, I can't for the life of me figure out how folks have decided that Charity's maiden name was Phillips. One person said that it was because in the 1830 Bibb County, AL census there are a number of Phillips living around Chaten Boyt, and one is named Charity. That Charity would have been old enough to be my Charity's grandmother, and she married a William Mills, and remained in Alabama. Pretty weak evidence.
