Obituary: Fort Wayne, IN Journal Gazette Saturday 4 Nov 1911
"David Manier, aged 53 years died Friday at the family residence, 804 W. Superior St. Death due to asthma and following an illness of ten years, in bed the past year. Mr. Manier was born in Noble County, 6/14/1858 and came to Fort Wayne a number of years ago. Surviving he leaves the wife and four children, Daniel, Ft. Wayne, V. Manier, Albion, and Pearl and Dorothy of Fort Wayne, one daughter preceeded him in death. Funeral will be held Monday from the residence. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery." |

"Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Manier, 76 of 304 W. Superior St who died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, after an illness of one week, will be Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lindenwood. Mrs. Manier lived here 40 years. She was a member of the Burr Oak Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Daniel and E.V. Manier of Detroit, two daughters, Pearl and Dorothy of this city, two grand children and two great grand children and a sister Jacob Snell of near Churubusco, IN." |
