| Jacob Hamman Families of Kosciusko County, Indiana Here are 4 generations of Hamman descendents beginning with Jacob Hamman, born 1784 in Pennsylvania. Jacob was married twice and produced two large families from these marriages. The first marriage was to Mary HIMES ca 1810 and the second marriage was to Elizabeth (Betsy) MOCK 1826. We know Jacob was born in Pennsylvania, but not precisely where. He first shows up in the public record in Tuscarawas County, Ohio circa 1815. His first wife Mary must have died in the early 1820's.
