VIVION

Thomas Vivion , whose wife was Mary _______, died 1670 in Isle of Wight County . Their sons were John, William, Joel, and Robert.

John Vivion married (probably not his first wife) Margaret Smith, the daughter of John and Margaret _______ Smith, in 1675 at Christ Church, Middlesex County. In 1687 John Vivion was included in a list of men in Middlesex County capable of military service: "to serve as footmen and to find themselves with armes..." In 1681 he was appointed as a constable, later as sheriff of that county. The date of Margaret's death is unknown. On February 23, 1704 John married (perhaps for the fourth time) Christian (Hill) Biscoe, the widow of Maximilian Petty and William Biscoe. This marriage was a short one: his will was probated the next year.

His daughter Margaret Vivion ( 1684-1718), married James Daniell .
