Rockbridge County, VA Deed Book B, p. 14.28 October 1788 100 lbs 17 1/4 Acres, 38 poles Andrew Moore attorney in fact for William Brown and Margaret hiswife to John Robinson. 17 1/4 Acres and 38 poles. Beginning at corner of James Hopkins' lot in town of Lexingtonand with same along the back lots laid off William Brown's land toJames Paxton's line, 38 poles, then with said Paxton's line, 84poles to creek, thnce down along the several courses of creek 38poles to an Elm, from thence 78 poles to beginning. Also one lot adjoining the lots of Daniel Windell and HenryMcClellan now live on 60 ft in front on Main St., and extending tothe back street. Also one lot on the Northwest side of the back street, adjoiningDaniel Windell on the North 140 ft in front and extending back 1281/3 ft to said Robinson's land, the same be opposite to aforesaidlot. Also 1 lot adjoining James Paxton on the South, James Blair onthe North; on Northwest side of Back street and extending backwardsto said Robinson's.

Dennis Donahoo, deceased late of said county, died intestate,seized and possessed of certain real estate. Nancy, his widow, waslawfully entitled by right of inheritance to the property of thesaid intestate in fee simple, since that time she has intermarriedwith the said James Key.
