South Dakota has recently addeda searchable dat base for birth
certificates on-line. As most of the Hopkins seem to generate from the
Southern area's I was quite surprised at how many I found in this
index. There are a total of 34. Much more for this surname than for
any other I was looking for. The url address for this site is

. You cab
also access from the South Dakota Genweb main page. Search can be made
for a specific individual or all with surname. The you can bring up
each individual and see parents names, county born in, date of birth,
date certificate filed, and the state certificate number. Individual
must be 100 years old to be on this index.
