I am the 3rd great granddaughter of Sarah "Sally" Hunsucker and Henry

Bolch/Bolick. I was wondering if you could make a link on your page to my

website. They are from Lincoln/Catawba Co. NC families. Sally's father was

John Hunsucker and _____ Smith, son of Johann Theobold Hunsucker.

I have a lot of information on their descendants that I have researched and

am hoping to find other cousins.

 Hello, my name is Duane Hunziker, I live in Altoona, Iowa, Last Sept. my wife and I toured Switzerland and discovered there are many Hunzikers there. We came home and checked with my Aunt, and she gave me a one page history of our family living in Unterkul , Aargau, Switzerland. In 1881, they came to America, and settled first in Ill, then moved to Iowa. I have found many of the tombstones from these early settlers, and then became interested in tracking further. I subscribed to the "Switz" -L Rootsweb and hooked up with Yvonne Gygli who lives in Zollkikofen Switzerland. With her help, I have traced my family to one Samuel Hunziker born abt 1641, in Switzerland. Yvonne is now working to find exact birthdate - parents, and siblings for me. I tried keeping all my records on a floppy disk on Microsoft works file, but really got to bulky to manage. A very good friend showed me the Family Tree Maker she was using, and we purchased the software, and moved everything to it, then one day, I got a notice if I wanted to post our family on the web pages and decided to go that route. We are not completely finished, but went ahead and posted it. Our web page is:

Family of Hans Rudolph Hunziker
In 1863, Hans Rudolph Hunziker (48 years old) arrived from Gontenschwil, Switzerland with 5 children: Maria (Mary, b.1843, sp. Sam Merz); Maria Anna (Annie, b.1844, sp. John Hediger / Hediker, sp. 2 Caemus Kalkbrenner); Rudolph (b.1846, sp. Mary Ann Krebs, b.1848, Bern); Elizabeth, (b.1850, sp. Joseph Schwartz); and, Adolph (b.1853). Hans Rudolph dies of pneumonia during the same year that the family arrives in the U.S., leaving 5 kids on their own. Somehow, the children wind up in Highland and Edwardsville, Madison County, IL. This web site is dedicated to information regarding this family and related families.
