This one could be Solomon JR's because next to it was a smaller grave that was the exact same.  It was covered with rock and black goo.

There were quite a few that I couldn't read at all. I didn't take anything with me to clean the stones and it was raining.

According to the book "Early Days on the Georgia Tidewater"

By Buddy Sullivan

One of the sons of Francis and Rebecca Hopkins was

Charles Horrie Hopkins/born 1812-died 1886

Another son, Octavius C. Hopkins married Elizabeth Aurelia King, daughter of Reuben and Abigail King of Mallow Plantation.

The book also says, that a deed concluded immediately after the Civil War dated July 17, 1865, provides an indication of the Hopkins Family’s activities in the Baisden’s Bluff-Belleville region of McIntosh Co.

"The petition of Thomas Spalding Hopkins and Charles H. Hopkins, Sr., Trustees, and Elizabeth Hopkins, wife of Octavius C Hopkins, Sr. and (father of) Abigail R. Hopkins, Octavius C Hopkins, Jr., Helen King Hopkins, Albert W. Hopkins and Reuben King Hopkins, minors, ‘Sheweth’ that…Octavius C. Hopkins, in consideration of the natural love and affection for his wife Elizabeth and children, has conveyed unto Thomas S. Hopkins and Charles H. Hopkins, for their use in trust, all that lot of land containing 35 acres known as the Baisden’s Bluff tract, also 1,000 acres of land known as the Johnston and Sikies Field tract, also 1,000 acres known as the Philson and Brainard tract…also one hundred acres of land purchased from W.H. Cannon…"
