WILLIAM HOPKINS SR. of Arkansas
The Rev. William Ferrell Hopkins Sr., 62, of Bearden, died June 7,1998, at Ouachita
County Medical Center at Camden.
He was born on November 26, 1935, in Calhoun
County, a son of the late Richard L. Hopkins and Elsie
Simpson Hopkins. He was an Assembly of God minister, a farmer and an
adjuster for
Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Co. He was a member of Bearden First Assembly of God
and the Cattleman's Association.
He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Albert Hopkins.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Mosley
Hopkins; a son, the Rev.William Ferrell
"Felix" Hopkins Jr. of Bearden; two daughters, Carlene Johnson
of Star City and Karen Womack of Camden; a brother, Albert
Hopkins of Joplin, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and a
great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Bearden
First Assembly of God with the Revs. Alan Womack, Charles Taylor and Donald Nance
officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home at Fordyce.
