Seeking information on Elizabeth Hopkins who is shown as Patentee of land
in Hale Co. AL with a signature date of 1824, close to or adjacent to
Lambeth Hopkins property; she also shows land in Perry Co. AL, signed 1837.

Elizabeth Hopkins of Greene Co., (now Hale Co.), AL was the widow of John
Hopkins who died 22 Dec 1813 from wounds received in the Battle of
Talladega. Lambeth was their son. I have no documented data on Elizabeth's
parents or siblings. Elizabeth died 29 July 1847,  probably in Perry Co.,
AL, but place of burial is unknown. Lambeth, my ggg-grandfather, died 8
July 1873 in Milam Co., Texas.
