Dear parents, I now take the opertunity to wright you a few lines but I don't know when I will get a chance agane for we have got to at two oclock tomorogh morning. We don't know whare yet. I was on picket last night for the last time in this field camp. I supose I have not received a letter from you sence aweak ago yesterday I thought but I thought I would write a few lines seing that I was going to leave this place. Some think that we are going to reinforce Rosencrance but I don't know. If we go there we will see some fighting. I have ben in the U.States service a little over a year and have not had anny fighting yet.

I must close now by biding you goodby for this time.
