    ST. LOUIS:
  • Genealogy in St. Louis - Continually updated. Dave Lossos' outstanding site which includes original material as well as links to other significant St. Louis sites, such as the St. Louis Public Library 's Online Obituary Index and the Surname index to the 1878 St. Louis Atlas. The first St. Louis site you should visit.
  • Historic Neighborhoods of St. Louis - A valuable site that lists, locates and describes the various neighborhoods that evolved in St. Louis. Includes Neighborhood Histories by Norbury L. Wayman, well worth a look.
  • Time Portal to Old St. Louis - Part of the American History Local Network, Scott K. Williams' site features an extensive collection of the music and images of historic St. Louis, as well as detailed histories, such as "Missourians in the First World War".
  • Paulette's "St.Louis - Old and New" - Includes church and cemetery information from the 1897 Gould's St. Louis Directory.

  • Field Trip to St. Louis - Web pages designed to help researchers planning a visit to St. Louis. Details the plannning of two trips, 1998 and 2001, as well as summaries of the visits themselves. Special section devoted to Old Cathedral.
  • MO-STLOUIS-METRO Mailing List - An email list that allows people to share information and queries about St.Louis. Mail lists can be a great resource to you, and are especially helpful in planning research trips to a locale.
