Mary Elizabeth Lauhon was born in Fort Smith Arkansas. The family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she grew up and married Lynn Reynolds.

Mary Elizabeth's daughter Beverly wrote:

My mother, Mary Elizabeth, lived with me from 1983 to 1991 when I placed her in a nearby nursing home. She needed total care and 24-hour attention. I had reached a point in my life that I needed to be outside of the home seeking full-time employment.

Mary Elizabeth Reynolds - November 30, 1916 - May 1, 2000

Mary Elizabeth Reynolds was finally released from Alzheimer's Disease on the 1st day of May, 2000. She was born November 30, 1916 to Clarence Eugene and Maude E. Lauhon in Oklahoma City. She attended Ward Belmont College and married her Classen high school sweetheart, Lynn Reynolds, in 1936. Together they raised a family, traveled the United States and enjoyed their bridge clubs, along with being active members of Church of the Servant.

For many years they took a yearly trip to Hawaii. In March of 1980 they shared their love of Hawaii with their family by taking both daughters and their families to Hawaii for a week. Lynn died in September of 1980.

Mary Liz was also predeceased by a son, Robert Lynn, in 1944. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Conley of Edmond and Beverly and her husband Stan Foster of Oklahoma City. Surviving grandchildren: Jon Barre Conley, Jr and wife Kim of Shawnee with their children Shyla and Tray; Christopher Shaun Conley and wife Shannon of Missoula, Montana with their son Griffin; Ewing Elizabeth and husband Rob Noren of Tulsa; and Tracy Renee and husband Steve Jones of Kansas City, MO.

Mary Elizabeth Lauhon Reynolds A graveside service was held at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Smith Kernke with the Rev. Norman Neaves officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to further research in finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease.
