HALL, George and wife Mamie. Lived in Bessemer, Jefferson County, Alabama. They were my grand uncle and aunt. I do not have any information on dates of birth, marriage or death. I am trying to locate their descendants and also the names of George's parents. I believe George and Mamie may have been connected with a beverage company, possibly Niehigh Beverage. George probably originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and had several sisters living there before their deaths; Grace (HALL) WHITWORTH, Ruth (HALL) SMITH, Helen (HALL) BALSLEY and Louise (HALL) CRAIG. Don't know the names of George and Mamie's children nor how many. At some time in the 1920's or 1930's George's nephew, Gil (his sister Grace's son), from Cincinnati, Ohio, lived with them. In the late 1940's or early 1950's a son, son-in-law or possibly a brother-in-law, owned or worked at a car dealership in or near Bessemer. By this time George had already died. In 1970 Mamie was still living and resided on N. 20th Street in Bessemer. If you are a descendant of George and Mamie or have information concerning them, their descendants, or George's ancestors (especially his parents), please notify me. Contact: [email protected]
