roberson---I am trying to locate a Roberson couple in Alabama in the early 1800s. They had at least two children, boys who later settled in Texas. Problem is, they moved around a lot in the early 1800s as new land was opened up for settling. One son, Andrew, was born in 1815 in TN. Another son, Lodwick, was born in PICKENS COUNTY, ALABAMA in 1819. They apparently grew up in Newton County, MS before marrying and moving to Texas in 1848. Their parents probably died in Mississippi or Alabama, as the two sons married Alabama girls (Jemima Elizabeth Ball and Mary Eleanor Ball - from a prominent family descended from Mary Ball of George Washington fame.) Would love any help in identifying these Robersons so I can take my genealogy back more generations.
