DEDICATE THE NEW ADVENTIST CHURCH

Another church structure was added to those already existing in Hood River Sunday morning when the Seventh Day Adventist Church was dedicated. This building has just been elected on Thirteenth street west of Holman's meat market. It is the result of a series of tabernacle meetings held here last summer, when about 50 converts were added to those already living in Hood River.
The new building was dedicated free from debt. It is in charge of Elder I.G. Knight.
At the dedicatory services Elder T.F. Soule pronounced the invocation. J.J. Knapp gave the scripture reading, which was followed by the financial report read by the pastor. Then followed a duet by Mrs. Carrie Knight and Mrs. Retta Knapp. Elder M.H. St. John preach the sermon, after which Elder H.W. Cottrell made the dedicatory prayer. After an anthem the services concluded with the benediction pronounced by Elder I.G. Knight.
