KATHRYN GRAEME

Dallesport resident Kathryn Rae Graeme died at her home on Jan. 1, 2004. She was 57.
Mrs. Graeme was born in The Dalles, Ore., on June 7, 1946, the daughter or Robert and Nada (Clark) McMurrin. She attended schools in Klickitat and Lyle, then earned an associate degree in business from Columbia Basin College.
On Dec. 13, 1963, she married Robert Graeme at the Baptist Church in Klickitat. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in 2003.
She worked various jobs, including managing apartment complexes in the Tri Cities from 1988 until she and her husband moved to Dallesport in 1995.
Mrs. Graeme enjoyed cooking, antiques and gardening, and enjoyed crafts, ceramics and painting. She also liked to play cards.
She was a kind and caring person to all. She was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with relatives at a reunion last July. She was devoted to the Lord and had a lot of faith.
Mrs. Graeme is survived by her husband, Robert, Dallesport; son Eugene E. Graeme, Madras, Ore.; sister Doris Niemela, Klickitat; brother Tim McMurrin, Dallesport; mother Nada McMurrin, Lyle; and seven grandchildren who were the light of her life. Preceding her in death are her father Robert and brother Eugene McMurrin.
A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at the Lyle Lions Club in Lyle. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Appleton.
