JIM CAYUSE IS BURIED MONDAY AT THREE FIRS

            Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27, at Three Firs, Indian cemetery near Husum, for Jim Cayuse, 77. Gardners were in charge of arrangements. The Rev Alfred S. Palmer officiated.
            Jim Cayuse was born Jury 6, 1885 at Husum and lived there all of his life. He died at Skyline Hospital, White Salmon, on Wednesday, May 22, 1963. He is survived by one sister, Lucy Thomas of Husum.
            Although he was blind, he bore his handicap with such aristocratic dignity that hundreds of people who didn't know his name admired and respected him.
