The Late Mrs. Grace Berry – Mention was made in last week’s issue of the death of Mrs. Grace Berry, of Hartland.  Further particulars are given by our Hartland correspondent.  Mrs. Grace Berry, wife of John F. Berry, one of the pioneers of Hartland, died at The Dalles, Nov. 21, 1907, at the home of John C. Berry, Sr.  The remains were laid away at the Hartland cemetery.  The funeral was conducted by Rev. Williamson of Centerville.  The writer has known the deceased for the last seventeen years.  She was organist at the church and Sunday School, being a fine musician, and was pleased to give her talents to further the Master’s kingdom here on earth.  She possessed a noble and willing spirit to do all she could in every way possible to make the world better.  The funeral services were well attended.  Her father, Chester Parshall, brothers, Wilbert, Lyman and Aza, and sisters, Mrs. Varker and Mrs. M. M. Warner were all present.  We extend our heart felt sympathy to the bereaved friends and relatives.  We can but look through our tears and sorrow to him who said, He will never leave us nor forsake us.  The deceased left a husband and an infant son.
