GRACE SMITH DIES IN CALIF. AT HARRIS RANCH
Grace Morris Smith of Coalinga, California died Saturday at the Jack
Harris Ranch. She was born In Sara, Washington. Mrs. Smith spent her life
working with livestock and was an accomplished horsewoman. She spent several
years following the Rodeo circuit.
Her only child, a son, was killed in a logging accident near
Glenwood in 1952.
Grace Morris Smith is survived by two brothers – George Morris of
White Salmon, and Edward of Roosevelt; four sisters: Mrs. Hazel Warner of San
Jose, Calif., Mrs. Walter Kelley of Roosevelt, Wash., Mrs. Ivan Riley of
Goldendale, and Mrs. Art Humphrey of Tieton, Wash.; also many nephews and nieces
and a host of friends.
