CARL BELDING, JR. KILLED IN ACTION IN VIETMAN

     Carl Frank Belding, Jr. was killed in action in Vietnam February 23rd, while serving in Company C 1st Battalion Infantry of the 25th Infantry Division has a PFC Special 4. He enlisted on March 20, 1968.
     He attended Columbia High School for two years and graduated from Bergman High School in Bergman, Arkansas in 1966. He had worked as a Service Station attendant and at Underwood Fruit and Storage Warehouse.
     Survivors are his parents, Carl and Geneva Belding of White Salmon; a brother, Pvt. Raymond Belding of Fort Lewis, Washington; and a sister Juanita Joyce Belding of White Salmon.
     Military services will be held at Gardner's Chapel in White Salmon on Friday, March 7th, at 11 a.m.. Interment will be at the White Salmon Cemetery.
