FUNERAL SERVICE TODAY FOR CHARLES BORIGO
Funeral services for Charles Edwin Borigo of Trout Lake,
Washington will be held Thursday, November 11th, at 11:00 A.M. at the Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. The Commitment will be private
in Skyline Memorial Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
Mr. Borigo died of Leukemia November 6th in Skyline
Hospital in White Salmon. He was born November 12, 1891 in Thorpe, Wisconsin.
Charles came to Trout Lake in 1923 where he worked for the Forest Service
off and on for twelve years. He worked in the Portland shipyard during World
War II. He returned to Trout Lake and worked for Mr. Hollenbeck as a fireman
at the mill. Following an injury, he retired and spent his last years in
Trout Lake.
Charles was a member of the Trout Lake Grange and a life-time
member of Maritime Lodge #193.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Hulda Borigo, of
Trout Lake.
Two sons: Leonard and Wayne Borigo
Two daughters: Nedra Chapman and Marian Crook.
Two brothers: Marion and Arthur Borigo.
Two half-sisters: Neva Blanchard and May
Ulowitz.
Seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Two
step-daughters: Mrs. Merle Christensen and Mrs. Emmett Thompson. Two
step-grandchildren.
