AGNES MARY LAUERMAN
Agnes Mary Lauerman, a resident of The Dalles since 1986,
died at her home on Sunday, April 30, 1995 after a brief illness. She was
86.
She was born Aug. 7, 1908 at Everett, Wash., the daughter
of Leonard and Charlotte Smith. She grew up in the Everett , and then married
Dr. Lloyd H. Lauerman, and optometrist, on Dec. 10, 1926 at Mt. Vernon, Wash.
In 1955 they retired and moved to Appleton, Wash. and
then in the 1980's moved to Dallesport. After Dr. Lauerman's in 1986, Mrs.
Lauerman moved to The Dalles.
Mrs. Lauerman is survived by a son: Dr. Lloyd H. Lauerman
Jr., Auburn, Ala.; a daughter: Janet Marie Bayer, Sierra Modre, Calif.; a
brother: Colburn J. Smith, Cottonwood, Calif.; grandchildren: Cheryl M.B.
Chamberlain, Steven and David Lauerman, Susan Young and Arthur and Jeoffrey
Bayer; great-grand children: Ryan King Young, Ashley Young, and Elizabeth
Chamberlain: and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 4, at 2
p.m. at the First Christian Church in The Dalles with Pastor Hal Glover
officiating.
Memorials have been suggested to the First Christian
Church Memorial Fund.
Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
